About

The Master of Public Health Extension provides a comprehensive introduction to public health. The extended degree allows you to tailor your learning to your career aspirations by completing additional specialisations or elective subjects.

You will study four foundational (core) subjects in public health, as well as selecting at least one specialisation.

Additionally, the Master of Public Health Extension has a strong focus on Work Integrated Learning, industry connections, and practical placements (available through the Public Health Practice specialisation), where you may apply theoretical knowledge into practice.

Admission criteria

An Australian bachelor degree, or recognised equivalent, from any discipline.

Fees and charges

This course will be offered as a Commonwealth supported place (CSP). This means the Australian government will subsidise your tuition fees by up to 75%. To be eligible for this fee subsidy, you must meet the following criteria: Be a domestic student, i.e. an Australian or New Zealand citizen, a permanent resident of Australia or a permanent Australian Humanitarian visa holder.
