About

The Graduate Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship is suitable for students looking to learn the theoretical knowledge and tools to lead innovation and entrepreneurship in your business, or in the broader world economy. This degree will equip you with creative tools and techniques, helping you to identify and exploit entrepreneurial opportunities, how to create an appropriate business model, and how to establish an appropriate financial basis for a start-up. You will learn how to foster a culture conducive to innovation and how to develop a business plan for the opportunity you identify.

Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship, you may enrol in a Master of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and be eligible for credit for the 4 subjects completed within the Graduate Certificate. Progression with credit to other Master’s programs, including the MBA, may also be possible.

Admission criteria

Either:

  • a recognised bachelor degree, or recognised equivalent, or
  • tertiary academic qualification of at least three years' duration plus three years' full-time professional work experience in a business context.

Fees and charges

This course will be offered as a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP). This means the Australian government will subsidise your tuition fees by up to 75%. To be eligible for this fee subsidy, you must meet the following criteria: Be a domestic student, i.e. an Australian or New Zealand citizen, a permanent resident of Australia or a permanent Australian Humanitarian visa holder.
