About

Environmental planning is concerned with protecting natural ecosystems and biodiversity; enhancing air, land and water quality, promoting sustainable urban and regional development; maintaining effective resource management and integrated land use; and minimising the impact of natural hazards.

The Graduate Certificate of Environmental Planning will provide you with the policy and legal foundations of planning practice in New South Wales, with a particular emphasis on the environmental and social dimensions of planning. With knowledge of environmental planning, social and environmental impact assessment, and environmental planning law, you’ll not only be more employable, you’ll be capable of making a worthwhile difference to the places where you live and work.
