About

In response to COVID-19, ICMS is offering online delivery of all courses to enable students to continue their studies. View the most up-to-date ICMS COVID-19 arrangements.

International organisations expect managers and leaders to demonstrate highly-developed business knowledge, as well as specialised skills in cross cultural management, international finance and strategic planning. These skills are crucial to effective decision making and the sustainable management of an organisation.

The ICMS Master of International Business focuses on extending understanding of the ways in which contemporary global organisations function, the diverse challenges they face and the complex environments in which they operate.

The course provides advanced, transferable, conceptual and professional skills through a program of student-centred learning and research experience in an industry setting.

This course includes two subjects of Work Integrated Learning (WIL), which is the equivalent of two trimesters of industry training. The ICMS WIL team place students with an organisation, in their chosen industry, for 600 hours. This gives students an opportunity to apply their knowledge to real business issues and make valuable industry connections. (Students who have already worked, or who are currently working, within their industry of study may be eligible to receive recognition of prior learning for these subjects.)
