Completing one of the four trimesters of the Master of Creative Industries, the graduate certificate is an ideal entry point to postgraduate studies, including for those who have worked within the creative industries for years but don’t hold a related bachelor degree.
With the benefit of no defined discipline specialisations, we’ll guide you to select modules that meet both your individual creative and professional aspirations. SAE recognises that learning may be acquired from both formal study and professional experience. Applicants without a bachelor degree can apply for experience based entry to the graduate certificate and, on completion, apply to transfer to the graduate diploma or master. Applicants will need to demonstrate at least 5 years of documented relevant work experience related to media production with evidence of artistic ability and achievement or practice comparable to that of undergraduate degree holders in relevant disciplines, combined with the successful completion of year 12 or higher.
