Business Development Manager

About the role

Your role as Business Development Manager is to build on our continued success and growth by securing new clients and business opportunities. You are also expected to grow and retain existing clients by marketing new solutions and services. Working closely with our leadership team, you will play a key role in our business development strategy by analysing and reporting on business trends and intelligence, developing business proposals and presenting them to our clients.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • the aptitude to engage executive-level stakeholders, supported by strong business acumen
  • excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to leverage these relationships to identify and influence new business opportunities for new and existing clients
  • a good understanding of technology and the emerging trends and challenges in the Australian education sector (beneficial but not mandatory)
  • experience in IT or SaaS sales (desirable).
