October Round – 9am Thu 27 October
To be considered in the October Round you must apply by Monday 10 October 2011 and provide all necessary documentation by Friday 21 October 2011.
The following institutions only will be making offers in the October Round to certain groups of applicants for certain courses:
- Australian Maritime College
- Charles Sturt University
- Macquarie University
- Southern Cross University
- University of New England
- University of New South Wales
- University of Western Sydney.
Institutions may make a limited number of offers in this round to groups of applicants including:
- deferred applicants
- non-Year 12 applicants, usually with no current studies or tests.
For these applicants only the course listed as their first preference will be considered in this offer round.
If you don't receive an offer in the October Round, don't contact UAC. Remember that most offers are made in the Main Round on Wednesday 18 January 2012.
Distance education courses
Most institutions offering these courses make the majority of offers in the October Round. All preferences are considered for these courses.
If you've already applied, you can change your preferences for the October Round until Tuesday 25 October 2011.
Remember that many courses have earlier closing dates for applying and providing documents than UAC closing dates – check the course search for details.
October Round offers:
- can be accessed from 9am on Thursday 27 October 2011 on this website. Follow the instructions and make sure you have your UAC application number and UAC PIN ready
- will be posted to arrive at Australian addresses from Friday 28 October 2011. Offers to overseas addresses should arrive a few days after this
- will be published in the media with Main Round offers on Thursday 19 January 2012.
