December Round – 9am Thu 8 December
To be considered in the December Round you must apply by Monday 21 November 2011 and provide all necessary documentation by Friday 2 December 2011.
The following institutions will be making offers in the December Round to certain groups of applicants for certain courses:
- Australian Catholic University
- Australian Maritime College
- Canberra Institute of Technology
- Charles Sturt University
- Griffith University
- La Trobe University
- Macquarie University
- Southern Cross University
- University of Canberra
- University of New England
- University of Western Sydney.
Institutions may make a limited number of offers in this round to groups of applicants including:
- deferred applicants
- non-Year 12 applicants, usually with no current studies or tests
- applicants who are selected predominantly on criteria other than an Australian Year 12 such as interview, audition, or special admissions program.
For these applicants only the course listed as their first preference will be considered in this offer round.
If you've already applied, you can change your preferences for the December Round until Tuesday 6 December 2011.
If you don't receive an offer in the December Round, don't contact UAC. Remember that most offers are made in the Main Round on Wednesday 18 January 2012.
Remember that many courses have earlier closing dates for applying and providing documents than UAC closing dated – check the course search for details.
December Round offers:
- can be accessed from 9am on Thursday 8 December 2011 on this website. Follow the instructions and make sure you have your UAC application number and UAC PIN ready
- will be posted to arrive at Australian addresses from Friday 9 December 2011. Offers to overseas addresses should arrive a few days after this
- will be published in the media with Main Round offers on Thursday 19 January 2012.
