Additional information: The Diploma in Science is designed to prepare students for tertiary study in Science. It presents students with first-year level B Science subjects. The Diploma aims to produce students who are fully prepared for study beyond the first year of the B Science degree. The Diploma in Science, completed in a smaller, more supportive learning environment than usually found in first year undergraduate programs, is designed to help students develop a greater ability in self-directed study and to have the confidence that comes from prior achievement in a tertiary environment.
