Additional information: The Diploma in Health Science is designed to provide students with the first-year units included in the B Health Science course. The Diploma presents students with subjects covering introductory Science, Communication and Health aspects of the B Health Science course. The Diploma aims to produce students who are fully prepared for study beyond the first year of the B Science degree. The Diploma in Health Science, completed in a smaller, more supportive learning environment than usually found in first year undergraduate programs, is designed to help students develop a greater ability in self-directed study and to have the confidence that comes from prior achievement in a tertiary environment.

The Diploma in Health Science articulates into the second year of the 704442 B Health Science or 704450 B Health Science PDHPE degree at UWS in the following areas: PDHPE, Health Services Management, Health Promotion or Therapeutic Recreation.
