Major studies: Include units from law, sociology, psychology, government, criminology, management and communication.
Industrial experience: You will have the opportunity to undertake an industry-based work placement during your degree.
Career opportunities: Examples include positions within the justice industry sectors of policing, court administration, criminological research, corrections, community legal centres, law reform bodies. Jobs for graduates include youth or community worker, counsellor, security officer, community or custodial corrections officer, case manager, information security officer, research officer or manager.
Additional information: The degree is available in both face-to-face and online modes. The justice industry is one of the fastest-growing areas of the human services industry, with increasing demand for flexible and qualified staff with a variety of skills.
Honours is available as an additional year (or part-time equivalent) to meritorious students in most UC courses.
