Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test (UMAT)
UMAT is used specifically to help with selection of students into medicine and some health science degree programs at undergraduate level.
The 2.5 hours test assesses general attributes and skills gained through prior experience and learning, such as critical thinking and problem solving, interactions with others, and abstract non-verbal reasoning. It does not measure academic knowledge.
Visit the UMAT website or call (03) 9277 5746 for further information.
Registrations for UMAT open in April. UMAT will be held on Wednesday 28 July 2010.
