* Prospective permanent residents note that if you are not yet a permanent resident you cannot apply through UAC Undergraduate but you may be able to apply through UAC International. If you are granted permanent resident status after you have applied to UAC as an international fee-paying applicant you must write to the operations officer at UAC to explain your change in status and provide a verified copy of your current passport immediately. If you change your status after you receive an offer you must speak with the individual institutions concerned.
+ An international student is a person who is enrolled, or intends to enrol, in a course at an Australian tertiary institution who is not an Australian citizen,
New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident of Australia.
Some international students (including those attempting an Australian or New Zealand Year 12 qualification in 2008) apply through UAC International. Other international students apply directly to the relevant institutions.
