Special sittings
If you live in a remote area in NSW and cannot travel to a test location, you can request a special sitting. Complete the STAT registration and indicate whether you wish to sit the STAT Multiple Choice and/or STAT Written English. Refer to STAT venues and session codes.
Attach a written request for a special sitting to your STAT registration. Include the name, position and contact details of a nominated supervisor and an intended date, time and venue/location to sit the test/s. If you wish to sit STAT in Batemans Bay or Moss Vale, contact the Senior Admissions Test Officer on (02) 9752 0200 for details.
It is your responsibility to nominate and organise an appropriate supervisor and venue, but these must be approved by the Senior Admissions Test Officer before you can sit the test/s. An appropriate supervisor is someone who holds a responsible position at a university, TAFE college, school or government department and must not be a relative, someone with whom you work closely, or a teacher of any candidate likely to be sitting the test/s.
Your intended test date must be between 24 August 2009 and 14 January 2010. However, to be considered for Main Round offers, your test date must be no later than 5 December 2009.
