Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT)
STAT sittings are usually held in September, October, November, December and January (main admissions) and May (mid-year admissions).
Information for 2012 mid-year admissions
The Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) is a series of tests designed to assess a range of competencies considered important for success in tertiary study. STAT assesses your ability to think critically and analyse the material given, rather than testing knowledge of specific academic subjects.
Download the STAT 2012 Mid-year Leaflet for information.
The free ACER STAT Candidate Information Booklet contains sample questions and information to help you prepare for STAT.
If you sat the STAT Multiple Choice in 2011 or January 2012, you can register to sit the 2012 mid-year STAT to be held in May 2012.
Note that the University of Sydney no longer requires Pharmacy applicants to sit the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT).
STAT will be held on:
| Saturday 12 May 2012 | Lismore, Surry Hills |
| Saturday 26 May 2012 | Birrong, Canberra, Coffs Harbour, Newcastle, Nowra, Penrith, Surry Hills, Wollongong |
If you sit the STAT Multiple Choice in May 2012, you can't register to sit the test again until the next test available after 14 April 2013.
