Undergraduate

Main Round offers

Main Round offers will be released at 9pm on Wednesday 19 January 2011 on UAC’s undergraduate website. You’ll need your UAC application number and UAC PIN. Offer letters will be posted to arrive from Thursday 20 January.

Last days for Early February and Final Round applications

Late applications for semester 1, 2011 study close at midnight on Thursday 3 February. Late fees apply and some courses may have closed, so check the course search before applying.

Early February Round preferences

Changes to course preferences for consideration in the Early February Round can be made between Wednesday 19 January and Wednesday 26 January. For details read the changing preferences FAQs.

ATAR Enquiry Centre

UAC's ATAR Enquiry Centre responded to over 2500 calls while it was open. The most popular questions were about ATARs, bonus points, Educational Access Schemes and PIN requests.

Credit transfer

Many institutions offer credit for relevant work experience or previous study such as qualifications from TAFE or Registered Training Organisations. For more information on recognition of prior learning, visit UAC’s credit transfer page.

STAT changes

UAC is changing its re-sitting policy for the Special Tertiary Admissions Test Multiple Choice this year. From Friday 15 April you will be able to sit the test once each STAT testing year. Further information about the changes can be found on UAC's STAT website.

Applications still open

International students can still apply for a Bachelor degree or Diploma at one of UAC’s participating institutions using Apply.

Offers

Unconditional offers are available now. The final two offer runs for semester 1, 2011 study will be released on UAC’s website at 9am on Saturday 29 January and Tuesday 8 February.

English language proficiency

An important part of applying through UAC International is demonstrating competency in English. Requirements and other information can be found on UAC's English proficiency page.

Postgraduate

Apply for postgrad study today

Applications for postgraduate study are still open. UAC offers over 1 000 courses at 13 institutions. Check the admission requirements before applying online.

Search Postgraduate courses

 

Financial assistance

Scholarships or loans for postgraduate students may be available from participating institutions. Read the institution entries on UAC's postgraduate website to find out about the assistance available at each institution.

Disability information

Institutions can provide services and assessment adjustments for students who have disabilities or ongoing illnesses which have affected their studies. UAC's disability information page has details on the disability services staff at each institution who can provide advice when you're preparing for university study.

Third party authorisation

For privacy reasons UAC can’t discuss information relating to your application with anyone except you. However if you'll be absent during the admission process, you may authorise a relative or friend to act for you.

Schoolink

Visit UAC's website for Schoolink resources

Schools will receive their offer lists from March. These will be in hard copy and mailed to the Principal. An electronic copy is available by emailing donna.munro@uac.edu.au

The Careers Advisory Service is a NSW government website that offers the latest information about work and study options for students who have just completed their HSC. It covers university admissions and alternative study pathways as well as TAFE and employment support.
