Apply now to be considered for Main Round offers
Applications for undergraduate study are still open but you’ll need to apply by Friday 9 December to make sure you are considered for the Main Round of offers. UAC’s participating unis make the majority of their offers in the Main Round on Wednesday 18 January, so apply now for your best chance to study in 2012.
Tip: It's important to get any documents and end-of-year results to UAC as soon as possible.
ATAR release
The wait will be over for NSW HSC students when ATARs are released on UAC's website at 9am on Thursday 15 December.
Tip: Make sure you know your UAC PIN to access your ATAR online. UAC phone lines are very busy on ATAR release day so make a note of your PIN now so there’s no delay in getting your ATAR. If you’ve already applied through UAC you can retrieve your PIN online.
ATAR Enquiry Centre
Our ATAR Enquiry Centre will be running this year from Thursday 15 December to answer any questions or concerns you might have about your ATAR. Visit our ATAR information page for opening hours and contact details.
Changing preferences
It’s okay to change your mind about the courses you want to study and many of you will want to change your preferences after ATARs are released on Thursday 15 December. Read our changing preferences FAQs for more information but be sure to make any changes for the Main Round by midnight on Thursday 5 January.
December Round offers coming soon
Institutions will be making some offers in the December Round on Thursday 8 December. Remember that few offers are made in early rounds and most applicants will know if they’ve been successful in the Main Round on 18 January.
