Mid-year Equity Scholarships closing soon

Submit one online application by Friday 28 May to be considered for a mid-year Equity Scholarship at Macquarie University, University of Newcastle, University of New England and University of Technology, Sydney . Equity Scholarships assist students from low socio-economic backgrounds with the costs associated with higher education.

Mid-year applications still open

You’ve still got time to apply for mid-year undergraduate courses through UAC. Find details of available courses using the undergraduate course search and apply online. The final closing date for applications is Friday 11 June.

Changing your preferences

You may have applied but you can still change your mind about the courses you want to study. You can change your course preferences as many times as you like through Online applicant services. Remember to make your changes by midnight on 9 June for Early Round offers and 18 June for Main Round offers.

Apply-By-Web tip

It may sound simple but make sure the name on your application is the same as your official identification (passport or driver’s licence). When you enrol at uni, you’ll be asked for ID and there can be confusion if your name doesn’t match your offer letter. Save the hassle now and make sure we have the correct details when you apply.

Apply now to start a course in 2010

We’re still taking applications for almost 1 000 courses through 12 institutions. You can choose up to six courses with one application.

The main closing date for most courses is Friday 28 May but make sure you check the postgraduate course search for details of course closing dates.  

Checking offers

Institutions make postgraduate offers in a number of offer runs each week. Check the postgraduate website regularly to see if you have an offer.

You can check which documents you need to supply on your Document cover sheet at the end of your application – read our FAQs for details of how to get your documents to us. There may also be other documents that you need to send directly to the institutions, so be sure to check the postgraduate website for any course special requirements.

Can I apply through UAC as an international student?

If you are an international student who took a 2009 Australian Year 12 or International Baccalaureate in Australia then you can apply through us. You can find out more on the UAC international website.

Applications for semester 2 courses open now

There are over 600 courses available through UAC for international students and applications will stay open until midnight on Friday 11 June.  

Conditional offers for International applicants

Around 48 hours after you apply through UAC, you’ll receive conditional offer letters listing the courses you have applied for. You can use these letters in your pre-visa assessment if needed. Remember you can’t enrol with a conditional offer – you’ll need to wait until your application is assessed and institutions make unconditional offers from Friday 18 June.

2013 Year 10 booklets

You can now order copies of the University Entry Requirements 2013 Year 10 Booklet through UAC Shop.

The booklet is a valuable tool for Year 10 students choosing their subjects for Years 11 and 12. It shows the prerequisites, assumed knowledge and recommended studies for university courses starting in 2013.

Come and meet us at the Sydney Morning Herald HSC and Careers Expo from 4-6 June at Randwick Racecourse.

We’ll be holding four seminars on demystifying the ATAR and understanding the UAC process during the three-day event.
