Different institutions offer different teaching areas. Some offer the teaching areas as both 1st area and 2nd area, while others may only offer it as one area or the other. Refer to the Teaching areas offered by institution table for details.

Are there special requirements for students in secondary teaching courses?

Yes, you'll need to undergo a Working with Children Check.
What are the requirements to become a secondary teacher in NSW schools?
