Clearing your cache FAQs

Often referred to as the cache, internet files can be stored as a kind of travel record of the items you've downloaded from the web, including images, audio, web page content, and even cookies.

All files stored in your cache take up space. From time to time, you may want to clear out the stored files to free space on your computer and reduce the chance of problems occurring with web applications such as Apply. This is called clearing the cache.

Clearing the browser cache will solve many technical issues related to your application.

  • Clearing your browser's cache for Microsoft Internet Explorer?

    To clear the cache:

    1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

    2. The Internet Options box will open

    3. On the General tab, in the Browsing History section, click Delete. This will delete all the files that are currently stored in your cache.

    4. Click OK.

  • Clearing your browser's cache for Mozilla Firefox ?

    To clear the cache:

    1. On the Tools menu, click Options.

    2.The Options box will open – click on Advanced.

    3.Click on the Network tab.

    4. In the Offline Storage section, click Clear Now.
