Clear cache FAQs
Often referred to as the cache, internet files can be stored by your web browser as a kind of travel record of the items you have seen, heard, or downloaded from the web, including images, sounds, web pages, and even cookies. Typically, these items are stored in the Temporary Internet Files folder.

All files stored in your cache take up space so, from time to time, you may want to clear out the files stored in your cache to free up some space on your computer and reduce the chance of problems occurring with web applications such as UAC's Apply-By-Web. This is called clearing the cache.
To clear the cache:
1. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
2. The Internet Options box will open
3. On the General tab, in the Browsing History section, click Delete. This will delete all the files that are currently stored in your cache.
4. Click OK.

To clear the cache:
1. On the Tools menu, click Options.
2. The Options box will open - click on Privacy.
3. Click Settings in the Private Data section.
4. Select Cache from the list of items and click OK.
5. Click OK in the Options box.
Clearing the browser cache will solve many Apply-By-Web technical issues.
