Postgraduate admissions 2015–16

Many people undertake postgraduate study after completing an initial degree or gaining equivalent work experience. Postgraduate study leads to an award such as a Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, Masters degree or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). Graduate entry level courses in teaching are also included in postgraduate admission through UAC.

We've created a new video showing how postgraduate study can help you advance your career, refresh your skills, or provide the opportunity to pursue a long-held passion.

Find out who can apply through UAC Postgraduate then read admission requirements for information about the qualifications you'll need to be offered a place in a postgraduate course.

After you apply you can manage and track your application through our Check & Change service. We recommend that you go to Check & Change regularly to check for correspondence from UAC.

Applications cost $64

If you've already applied in this admissions period (ie since Sep 2015) and have changed your mind about what you want to study don't submit a new application; simply change your preferences through Check & Change.

How do offers work?

Offers are released throughout the admissions period from September 2015 to August 2016. If your application is successful, you'll receive an offer notification from UAC. The institution making the offer will send you information about acceptance and enrolment dates and procedures. Read offers to find out more.
