Admission requirements
You must check the admission requirements on the UWS website before completing your application. |
For admission to most postgraduate coursework programs you would normally be expected to have a Bachelor degree from a recognised tertiary institution in an appropriate discipline. You may also need relevant professional work experience, or volunteer experience for some courses, and/or membership of a professional organisation. For some courses, entry is available on the basis of relevant professional work experience alone or a combination of tertiary study and professional experience.
Entry requirements vary between courses. You can obtain information about the entry requirements for a specific course by calling Freecall 1800 897 669 or from the UWS Handbook at http://handbook.uws.edu.au/hbook/.
Overseas qualifications and English proficiency
If you hold overseas qualifications from countries where English is not the standard language of instruction you must provide evidence of English language proficiency. Refer to the English language proficiency table for information about tests and qualifications accepted by the University as proof of proficiency in English.
If you do not meet the University's English language proficiency requirements, you cannot be offered a place.
Special requirements
You may have to complete a supplementary form or questionnaire, attend a test or interview, or provide specific documentation or a portfolio as part of the application process. Check the course search to see whether special requirements apply, then carefully read the information provided at www.uws.edu.au/postgraduate for details.
Applicants should note that failure to provide the additional information required may result in their application not being considered.
How do you obtain a copy of the supplementary form or questionnaire?
Download a copy from www.uws.edu.au/postgraduate.
Where do you submit your additional material?
You must send or deliver to the addresses indicated on the website for each course.
When do you have to submit your additional material?
