Applications for 2009 admission

Application cycle for 2009 admissions is August 2008 - June 2009.

Early August 2008 Applications open
Fri 31 October 2008 Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications by this date for course starting in Semester 1 but can still apply up until February 2009.

All applications must be made online through UAC International Apply-By-Web.
UAC International Apply-By-Web processing charge - $57.50.
Note that UAC does not refund charges and fees under any circumstances.

2008 Year 12 results and measures of overall achievement


NSW Year 12 students
Wed 17 December 2008 NSW HSC results released by NSW Board of Studies
Thu 18 December 2008 UAIs released by UAC on this website from 9am*
Fri 19 December 2008 NSW HSC students receive two letters: HSC results from the NSW Board of Studies and UAI from UAC
 

ACT Year 12 students
Wed 17 December 2008 ACT Year 12 Certificate and Tertiary Entrance Statement (including UAI) issued by ACT Board of Senior Secondary Studies. Students should collect their certificates from their college on or after this date

Queensland Year 12 students
Fri 19 December 2008 results released by Queensland Studies Authority

South Australian and Northern Territory Year 12 students
Thu 18 December 2008 results released by Senior Secondary Assessment Board of South Australia (SSABSA)

Tasmanian Year 12 students
Tue 16 December 2008results released by the University of Tasmania

Victorian Year 12 students
Mon 15 December 2008 results released by the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC)

Western Australian Year 12 students
Tue 23 December 2008 results released by the Tertiary Institutions Service Centre (TISC)

International Baccalaureate (IB) students
Tue 6 January 2009 results released by IB Cardiff, UK

New Zealand NCEA Level 3 students
January 2009 results released by New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) (to be confirmed)

Changing your courses

Changing your courses
You can change your courses for admission in Semester 1 from August 2008 to February 2009. Read after you apply.

Offers

Conditional offers
You will receive a conditional offer letter approximately 48 hours after you have successfully submitted your application.
Unconditional offers - Semester 1
Institutions will make their unconditional offers for Semester 1 progressively in a number of offer runs between December 2008 through to February 2009.
Semester 2 offers will be available from June 2009. More information about offer runs and dates for Semester 2 will be available later in 2008 on this website.

*Times indicated on this website are based on Sydney local time. Online applicant services is available between 7.30am and midnight, seven days a week.
