+ Tuition fees are calculated on a student's exact enrolment. UNSW students enrolled in most courses have some flexibility in the subjects they choose. At times these subjects will be from outside their own faculty. For example, a commerce student may choose elective subjects from a range of other faculties; a student in a combined law degree with engineering or science will choose subjects from science and engineering and subjects from law. Major studies: Core studies in multimedia production, plus one of Asian studies, Chinese studies, criminology, development studies, economics, English, environmental studies, European studies, film studies, French studies, geography, Hispanic studies, history, history and philosophy of science, human resource management, international business, international relations, Japanese studies, Korean studies, linguistics, media and culture, music, philosophy, politics, psychology, sociology and anthropology, theatre and performance studies.

Honours: Available as an additional year to meritorious students.

Career opportunities: Examples include employment in media production and communication industries, which rely on digital media. Graduates will have the skills to develop media products, not only in the context of the information and entertainment industries, but also in education, publicity and media sections of public and private corporations.
