Additional selection criteria: A TAFE qualification and industry experience is desirable. Credit will be granted where appropriate.
Major studies: Horticultural science, plant protection, production horticulture, property planning, finance, marketing and business planning, soil and water management.
Career opportunities: Examples include horticulture managers who develop and manage fruit, nut, vegetable, flower and nursery enterprises. Other roles include marketing, quality control, technical advice, consulting, business and financial management.
