Australian National University
If you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident, aged over 21 by 1 March in the year you wish to be admitted to the university, and you do not meet the university's minimum admission requirements, you have alternative methods of admission. ANU has different alternative requirements for different faculties and courses, so visit www.anu.edu.au and download the 2009 Undergraduate Student Guide for more information about:
- tertiary preparation courses
- the Special Adult Entry Scheme (SAES)
- the University Preparation Scheme (UPS)
- the Countrywide Access Scheme.

Charles Sturt University
CSU also has educational access schemes . It is not a substitute or alternative pathway to enter University, but takes into account circumstances that may have affected your ability to perform well educationally – including competing as an elite athlete. Students must also apply for courses in the usual manner.
